Have you ever wondered how airlines provide the airplanes we've been traveling to?
Based on the coil search, there are two options for airlines to procure aircraft, ie by buying or renting.

The procurement procedure of the aircraft, whether buying or renting, is mostly the same, except for payment.
The process begins by choosing the type of aircraft as needed, such as capacity and cruising power. The airlines may then consult with relevant aircraft-type brokers.
After being given several options of aircraft type, the airlines can directly go to aircraft assembly companies such as Boeing and Airbus.
Each aircraft assembly company will provide an offer so that it can be prepared letter of intent between both parties.

If airlines choose to lease planes, they can work with several leasing companies such as ACMI, GECAS, and AerCap with international standards, or other companies.
But if the airline chooses to buy, the payment can be made directly. The average advance payment of 5-10 percent, which is then paid to a third party. This third party is entrusted with the administration and registration of the aircraft.
All aircraft flying in Indonesia must be registered with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation at the Ministry of Transportation.
